  • Site Selection and Soil Testing – March 2 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: The basics of selecting and preparing a site for your vegetable or ornamental plants.
  • Gardening Types and Composting – March 9 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: How to grow in containers, raised beds and in the ground. Also how to use and make your own compost.
  • What and When to Plant – March 16 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Learn how to find the right plant to plant and time to plant it.
  • Maintenance and Problems – April 6 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: How to maintain and identify problems in the garden. Pruning, irrigation, pest ID and management.
  • Lawns and Alternatives – April 13 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: How to take care of your lawn, maintenance, problem diagnosis and alternatives to lawns.
  • Small Fruit & Orchard – April 20 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: How to take care of strawberries, blueberries, fruit and nut trees.
  • Organic Gardening – April 27 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: The basics of organic gardening, fertilizer and pesticide use.
  • Landscape Design, Flowers, Shrubs and Trees – May 4 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: How to design and select plants for your landscape.
