Dear Friends,

I just got off the phone this early Sunday morning with Whit Jones, Cottle Farms, and he informed me that on Tuesday, Duplin County is in the “bulls-eye” of a powerful rain event. Due to the seriousness of this development, we are going to delay the Strawberry Variety and Advanced Selection Program at Cottle Farms until Tuesday, May 1st. Everything will remain the same, except we realize that some of you may not be able to attend. But, we are hoping that most of you can adjust your schedule to be there on Tuesday, May 1st. Fortunately, we had people to call me, text, or send an email, to let me know they could come. I will be immediately notifying our out-of-state guests of this development.
